Bubble Shooter: what to know before playing

Use a short break to learn the rhythm of Bubble Shooter. Clear the hanging bubbles before they reach the lower boundary. Choose a clear next step rather than rushing through the instructions. Use the opening round to become familiar with the layout. Keep the game area visible while you use its controls.

Original hexagonal matching board and bouncing projectiles.

Build familiarity through play

After a move, check what changed. Decide which rule explains the new state before acting again. Keep the objective visible.

The goal to keep in mind

Clear the hanging bubbles before they reach the lower boundary. Use the instructions to see which actions move you towards it. Take a moment to understand the current position.

The steps to play

  1. Aim and fire.
  2. Attach bubbles to the cluster.
  3. Groups of three or more equal colours disappear.
  4. Floating groups drop; five misses lower the ceiling.

Controls

Pointer/touch aim, angle controls and Fire. Keep the playing area visible while using these controls. Contact us with the game and device if a control does not respond.

One way to understand the rules

Removing one support can drop a larger mixed-colour group below it. Apply the same reasoning to the position in your own round. Take a moment to compare.

Check this before moving on

Contact with a different colour is not a match. Check the rule before repeating the action. Read one step at a time and try it on the playing area. Match the instruction to the control you use.
